This Privacy Policy governs the processing of the personal data of users (hereinafter the “User” or “Users”) collected in the context of their interactions with Andrade & Sousa Advogados, as controller, including when using the website www.aslawyers.pt (hereinafter the “Site”). Andrade & Sousa Advogados is committed to protecting your privacy, maintaining a firm commitment to the rights of personal data subjects, and acting in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter the “GDPR”) and other applicable legislation. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies solely and exclusively to the collection and processing of personal data carried out by the Site. Access to and use of the Site does not imply the provision of personal data by the User, with the exception of certain functionalities.

Personal Data

Personal data is information of any nature and on any medium relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.

Responsible for Treatment

Andrade & Sousa Advogados is the entity responsible for the governs and processing of personal data and undertakes to use it in accordance with the applicable legal rules and solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Purpose

For the purpose of responding to your requests or enquiries (“Contact” form), we process your personal data on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in providing you with a personalised service and, where applicable, to carry out the necessary pre- contractual steps at the request of the data subject.

When you communicate personal data to us through the form available on our Site or through any other means of communication, we will only process the identification data necessary for your request, as described in this Privacy Policy.
Andrade and Sousa Advogados collects the personal data (name and e-mail address) expressly provided by the User, with their consent, and this data is processed for contact requests, in order to provide clarification and information requested by the User. Retention of Personal Data
